The 440 Allis was built by Steiger. It's a Bearcat but with a triple nickel cummins instead of the V8 cats Steiger used. The deal with Allis was the only reason Steiger was able to keep building tractors after they moved to Fargo until IH came along and bought a third interest in Steiger.
