Why would you want to hook up a pto every time for an 8" auger? A basic 420cc engine will run it just fine
Small compact tractor moves auger to bin and powers auger. Tractor sits in shop and starts with no regard to outside temperature. We have not had a gas powered auger around for quite some time. Have not missed it yet.
