There is no margin feeding cattle right now. Kinda like planting corn, no margin right now. Cow calf guy deserves it i agree.

But this will not end well. And biggest part is itll be nothing but big feeders left when done. Lots of little guys are already sitting out from buying feeders. $2600 feeders and $3200 fats dont work.

I background cattle. Bout impossible to buy anything thatll work. $2500 light cattle $2900 9 weiggts. Dont work very well.

We just weaned our hone raised fall calves Tuesday. My 12 son told me when got done processing them Tuesday, he says dad i think we shoukd just sell em. $2400 hfrs, $2700 steers, well background and only get $2900, think well make more selling now. I think the kid is right!
