Typically amortize for 10-20 and lock the rate for 3-20 depending on how the market is pricing rates. Sometimes, the 3 year lock 20 year amo is cheaper…sometimes it isn’t.
I’d be happy with anything as close to 5% due to the current environment! Got one property locked in the upper 3’s so that one will get milked for a while!
