They`re stingy giving out swag this year, so far I`m 0 and 2 . I mean I don`t care, I can buy my own hoodies and caps, just observing they haven`t been as generous as previous years. Still waiting on two more seed deliveries so maybe we can get up to 50% :-)


Then I heard the other day Paul Niefer the farm accountant said harvest lunches are no longer deductible. I know that`s old news, but I was unaware you could write off field lunches in the first place. In the past i`d sneak a Twin Bing candy bar amongst "farm supplies" at Bomgaars, apparently I could`ve also deducted my A&W meal too, no wonder I`m broke :-)
