There's been a lot of years where ethanol kept the price of gasoline 50 cents to $1 cheaper than it would have been without it. 10% more fuel in the pipeline makes a big difference, especially when that fuel is much cheaper than the gasoline even with it in the market, let alone if it hadn't been there.
