the only reason i crop farm is the rush i get to make silage to feed to animals to make manure that has huge corn bushels following!
I'm just showing what I'm doing-if it helps someone along the way to avoid what I did thats great-if not I guess anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong

I'm not judging I didn't see all the previous stuff so I was just kind of curious.
If I won the lottery I would build a feed lot and some feed bunkers and absolutely I would be putting up silage just so I could grow it chop it feed it and haul the manure out. I always enjoyed that. The hum of the cutter head, The smell watching it flow off of the beaters in the chopper box
The corn cob fights with your brothers and slingshots
That's how I grew up. Working for the cows. Now the cows work for us they're another crop rotation.
And like you say the manure. There's just something about preparing the soil putting that manure out there not spending a nickel up at the co-op and just growing that nice crop
