Some farmers are really good at destroying capital if there's deals like this happening. All I can say is wow. If a tractor costs $100/hr in depreciation to operate than my 8300s are worth about negative a million dollars.

This is where I have a hard time. $80 an hr for a newer under warranty very capable tractor doesn't seem to out of line, but like you say you can chase away alot of capital with these deals.

$80/hr might not seem out of line if you’re using that “very capable tractor” to its full capability. What I don’t understand is why guys are getting these expensive, very capable tractors and then proceeding to use them for the same work they did with an 8300 that only depreciated at $30 per hour and could run through its entire warranty period without needing the warranty coverage.
