Typically that would be from setup, but I don't think that going from one preset rate to another would do what you're describing. Maybe it would be worth trying to change the setting for rate 2 to something else and back again, in case it has something stuck in the programming. Does it work to manually set it to the rate you're trying to do without using a preset?
