Subject: RE: Shingles

Northwest Iowa
I had chicken pox, measles, and mumps back in the day. No shingles, no covid, one flu about 10 years ago. I'm Type O blood and I have read that those with that type build good immunities. Could be. About 5 years ago while planting corn, I could feel a tender spot around my waist band. A burning itch. I went to the Dr. the next morning. I told him I thought I was getting shingles. he agreed that it was possible and ordered a med and said I'd feel better the next day. it did lessen the burn/itch but it did linger for about 6 weeks. From my experience, if there is a question, probably go earlier than later to the Dr.
