The calves were bought at $2500 a head that I'm selling contracted-I guess if you think taking care of that feeder-putting 800 to 900# of weight on them is makin bank more power to you,after interest ,vet and trucking with ability to put cheap gain on I hope to make $50-
I guess one huge advantage I do have is my corn last year average on the crop side cost $3 a bushel for myself on 700 acres,its sitting on a pile of earlage,and corn silage
the only reason i crop farm is the rush i get to make silage to feed to animals to make manure that has huge corn bushels following!
I'm just showing what I'm doing-if it helps someone along the way to avoid what I did thats great-if not I guess anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong
