Jeffersonville, OH | Just talked to my Brother on the sales side...we have a new 9S425 Massey in stock that the Finance price is $445K to get 0% for 3 years. Say we had a customer with a 5 year old 8735S who wanted to upgrade with about 2000 hours, we'd be at roughly $200K to trade, going up 2 sizes in tractors.
So, wouldn't say the number being discussed are way out of line, though I could do new for the same as these low hour used ones you all are talking about. The $200K used tractor market is still soft yet, the only thing moving decent is down in the sub $150K range. Things are moving, but they are slower than years passed
Also for conversation, the 8735S would have been sold for roughly $298K in 2021 according to my old deals. So I would say it's holding value well enough with the increased price of everything newer helping that too, excluding inflation since 2021
