West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12		Like it or not, an ICE cannot run on straight gasoline without destroying itself.

Todays more efficient ICE require higher octane fuel to run and not destroy themselves than in the past,

Ethanol is the least cost/cleanest/safest to humans...least cost octane booster.
