I think there is a lot of corruption going on but I also think the fundamentals have changed just as much. Never even heard of a tweet in the marketing world 10 years ago. Watch the weather, S&D reports, WASDE, COT, that kind of thing was the norm. Now there’s probably 100 people hitting the refresh button on Wall Street and CBOT on Twitter, Truth Social, Facebook, etc all day every day waiting for the millisecond to show a new 40 cent move. I’d hate think of all the monitoring and rumor mill activity that goes on in order to make a dime in our markets. What a sucky job that must be!

I think back to the orange juice and Martha Stewart days when all that went on and raised eyebrows. Only difference was they made an example of something and someone that had been going on for years. It’s really no different today I think it’s just a bigger game to play and all the spots are filled with players at the table. Some of these things I will agree you can forecast beforehand if you know where to look and what to look for. If you see boats headed west go buy fuel. If you see a meeting between china and US then better figure to buy the day it’s announced and sell a week before it happens because it will be postponed. Now the guys calling people on burner phones telling each other what tweet is about to come out is not a game any of us will be invited to play and there’s really no stopping any of it.
