Yes. We are at a disadvantage to surrounding states at dealers or auctions. 4.5% tax. Can buy private party and no tax. I don't get why more people don't take that into consideration here. Auction houses must get audited by SD because I get the letter in the mail from SDDOR whenever I buy. Supposed to do it voluntarily.
