We have mactavish, they have been used and abused and have been awesome. They have a few more options now than when we ordered. We flip flopped between mactavish and stor loc but mactavish was a bit more 'customizable' at the time, but that was 10+ years ago
We have 16’ of McTavish SS top workbenches and a big parts cabinet from them with cabinets on the top and drawers on the bottom. They are well built and good looking, people often compliment them. They were expensive, but I looked at it as a long term one time investment, I expect them to last easily through my kid’s lives. My only complaint is the gaps all around the drawer fronts and cabinet doors, over the years quite a bit of dust does get into the drawers and on the parts. Thinking of finding some type of brush type of weatherstripping that could be stuck onto the edges of the drawer fronts and cabinet doors to close the gap, like what’s around the edges of some window screens. This is something the company could easily add to make a great product even better. |
