Western Oregon
Can't do sardines or other trash fish. I like salmon, cut throat trout, perch, tuna and halibut. Over the years I have gotten use to the taste of a crab louie but only very little, since wife and kids get one at the coast and want me to try it. I have allergies to "sea food". I season fish and put in the air fryer these days. I add a little thin pat of butter to salmon. As a kid and up until the air fryer, fish cooked over an open fire was best. Other wise smoked was my choice. I grow yellow perch in my greenhouse and pond. Put them in greenhouse since the warm water grows them fast and I like the taste of them. Also like growing vegetables in the floating beds. Keeps the greenhouse warmer at night for year around growing. Heat the water with a solar tube heater. We have fish 3-4 times a week. I love to fish, too....James
