Like Garvo, we also have no appetite for massive margin calls. I don't understand half the hedging talk you row crop guys talk about, that means I have to go outside and trust some market guru with big piles of my hard-earned money if I want to hedge as some suggest. That being said anytime I can forward contract for a good profit with no margin calls I will, and I won't look back... WELL I will try not to look back, last year I left a big chunk of a new pickup on the table, but the ride I would have taken to get there would have taken years off my life! and the back and forth of margin calls would have been nauseating. You guys want to say I am part of the packer captured supply problem, OK I will accept my roll in that, but anyone willing to fall on their sword for the greater good, won't be in business for long.
