You want closed center and no power beyond if it’s just a loader tractor. A power beyond spacer block is good way to supply pressure to and return oil from your now closed center loader valve.

The spacer goes between one of the SCV valve housings and the rockshaft housing they bolt to. This keeps the loader from taking up one of the SCV’s on the tractor.

It’s important that you do not follow the instructions to actually return flow from the loader valve to “tank” or reservoir. The return oil from the loader valve should return into the charge pump to filter to front pump/oil cooler circuit. There’s a port in the side of the power beyond spacer block that is the correct place to return the oil to.
