Let the grains and other markets be your guide. Silver didn’t stay above $100 forever. Corn didn’t stay above $7 forever. All markets correct, regardless of fundamentals. There’s some beef producers and cowboys across the country side getting pretty loud and proud about their market. “Beef herd is the smallest since 1950. It can’t go down with these numbers”. It won’t last and the fall out will be quick. South America can produce beef too.
However one can sell locally for a premium.
If the government opens import quotas anymore on beef, there will be a riot, since all sides hate the rancher. Even the grain farmers here, despite their grandfather having cattle or hogs. |
