Southwestern Minnesota | Making changes is difficult and it really is up to the individual themselves as to where they are at and what their motivation is. Outside influences can work temporarily, but generally shaming, guilting, scaring, etc aren't effective long term. Kudos to you for trying to help. But if that person is resistant and doesn't want to, it really isn't your responsibility or fault. If what they are looking for is help and ready to make changes, then you have a chance to be of assistance. | |
