Still only 7 states mandate ethanol be blended in their gasoline. 15 billion gallons of ethanol is used in about 150 billion gallon of gas per year in the US seems to be a drop in the bucket to me. Not much of a horrible mandate ethanol bathers make it out to be IMO!
