Alberta | Hi, I've got this planter, has spring down pressure, and not much of it. Works ok in tilled ground. I want to direct seed into a field with barley cover. Looks pretty mellow, but not perfectly smooth, would the monoshox setup help alot? Or even a stronger spring, or is the air or hydraulic the way to go? I'm getting a little tired of tillage just so the planter can work better. This field was bean ground, going to be corn, spread compost on in the fall, compaction not an issue, but maybe a little less smooth. | |
