Ripley MN | I would not pull a calf off an already milking cow just to save another one… used to graft twins or Holstein bull calves but that was when they were $100 a piece… I’m not grafting a $1500 Holstein calf in the hopes it will take. Sounds like she is a good cow worth keeping, if that’s the case just turn her loose with the rest of them. Unfortunately had a few in that situation this year. Don’t like it but it is what it is. She will be dry for the year. Average or below all went on the truck right away | |
