Not trying to hijack the thread but i was wondering if you can still get parts for those funk transmissions. I heard some guys saying they can't get parts and i was wondering how reliable and how long they last in tough pulling jobs such as pulling a 5000 gallon manure tank and ripping. Just wondering as I know the ACGO White powershift tractors use them, and I think some Challengers use them? Thanks. :)

So far, I've been able to keep them running...you don't need tons of parts inside, mainly harness and valve parts.

The early 6100 White's and 9600/9800 AGCO Allis tractors used the early Funk, and the 8010 White, 8200 MF, 9700 and DT AGCO's, and the MT600 Challengers use the later Funk transmission which doesn't have the giant jump from 9-10, it has 2 smaller ones at 6-7 and 12-13.

They are all owned by Deere now, and parts will get harder because they are all supplied by Deere and I have "heard" that they aren't going to continue to supply parts. So far, we can buy everything...other than I did just call to try and buy a coil from Deere and got told it's "not a part we can sell." No idea what that means
