I just got over a case of shingles. They were inside my mouth, on the roof. It felt like I had burned my mouth but hadn’t had anything hot. I had an earache like it was ready to burst as well as shooting pains in my head. 

I tried to get into my doctor but that would have been three days out so I went to the urgent care facility and got right in. No ear infection, no strep throat, she came in and said I think you have shingles, gave me the anti viral pills, they are a good sized pill and within several days all of the symptoms disappeared. I have had the shingles shots.
