Subject: Kinze 2600 wing lock question

East Central Nebraska
New to me, I got a Kinze 2600 12/23 for a bean planter. This is has the bar that rotates. First time with this kind of planter. Messing with it, trying to understand the wing lock when it is in the field swung and lowered into the plant position.. All the manuel say is push the switch and then push the hydr lever and it unlocks the wing. Does it stay in float somehow? Just trying to understand that portion of the planter. How long do you hold the electric switch on the switch box and how long do you keep the hydr lever in position probably more of the question. Thinking 4-5 secs is good. But how does it float then. Does it just bypass within itself thru the solenoids? Thanks Greg
