Not the exact same deal but maybe similar. I tore up some corn last spring to replant and my planter (ag leader sureforce) was squawking at me that the down force wasnt responding. The ground worked up so fluffy that it was trying to lift my rows and couldn't hit the target gauge wheel load. I had to lift my row cleaners out of the way and set the downforce to max for things to work properly.
