Subject: RE: Napa price and quality going downhill

SE Washington
I support the local Napa when I need something quickly. Pay a premium for convenience but don't have much for options. I can find anything they sell cheaper online or 30 miles away, but something to be said for having a local option. I'd hate to see it go away but yes prices aren't competitive. Recently discovered how great Oreilly prices are on Wix and I've had stuff show up in my mailbox next day from them. Napa doesn't have Wix anymore but there's more to the story. Basically Wix couldn't meet the Napa demand so Napa was forced to change suppliers. The new napa filters are just as good of quality. There's a misconception that won't die that if it's not made in the US it's junk. Most countries anymore are ahead of us in manufacturing in all aspects.

Watch this mechanic's video he had a sitdown with Napa reps and got firsthand information on the filter rumors.
