Alpha, IA | Is there a way to calibrate or adjust the clutch operation? I read in the workshop manual that it should operate like a convention clutch but mine does not. As soon as the bottom limit switch closes it fully engages the clutch. I checked the clutch potentiometer in the calibration section and the numbers move smoothly through the entire travel of the clutch. As long as I've used this tractor it's always done this so I figured it was normal. It's difficult to hook anything up to the drawbar because I can't ride the clutch like a convention clutch. I calibrated the three clutches which helps with shifting but it doesn't do anything for the actual clutch pedal operation. In the workshop manual it's states that when in the calibration process with a 4x4 in front of the wheel that it will start to move when it reaches the calibration point but when I did it, it would move immediately even with an 8x8 in front of it so I had to hold the brakes to get it to calibrate. | |
