I have thought about this also this week, but every time I have been around liquid nitrogen on corn I have been disappointed. But it was never my corn and didn’t know the exact details. I was just custom harvesting.

So I don’t think the $10 saving an acre would worth it. Or is my math wrong? What does 50# of liquid cost?

I'd have to agree with Big Square, comparing 32% on grass and corn is not the same.

The last few years we have used 32%/ATS to topdress the wheat. A couple years ago when we were done spraying the wheat (and had a fair amount left over) we put a half rate on some pastures and hay fields. Boy did it make them come to life and look good. So last year we did more of it and was equally impressed. Plan to do it again this year in the next few days.

I think it is way better than spreading Urea and hoping for a rain. It seems like the grass utilizes the liquid right away and is more efficient.

The ATS also seems to help stabilize the Nitrogen. I had read that on here somewhere several years ago and tend to believe it to be true after using it and seeing it.

We are running a 80/20 mix. 80% of the 32% Nitrogen and 20% of the ATS. Using 6 way streamer tips and haven't cut it with any water and don't notice any burn.

Most all our corn Nitrogen comes from Anhydrous. This year I do plan to play around with the Hagie and topdress or Y Drop some extra nitrogen in season if we are not burnt up by then.
