WeatherBug - 4/7/2026 16:23  I feed my steers unlimited hay and unlimited corn. Both in front of them 24 hours a day. They must strongly prefer the corn because they really dont eat a lot of hay. Been doing this for 25+ years. Never had acidosis, bloat, or any other problems. I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell me thats not possible and I'm doing it all wrong Edit: And my ground feed looks very similar to the OP's photo, which is apparently the wrong way too




Is that beef animals?   Dairy cross?  Or straight dairy?

How big are they when you put them on full feed and how big do they finish?
