Subject: RE: Post driver

Have a Montana 750 mounted on my Deere 35G mini hoe and love everything about it. With my mini I can really climb hills and reach hard to get to places. I drive 4-5" 7' posts and 5-6" 8' for braces/corners. If the ground isn't desert drought dry we can drive a post every 60 seconds with two people who know what they are doing and straight runs, relatively flat. You start getting into hills it takes more time to get into position but still can hammer them in rather quickly. If it's really dry or if you hit sand stone that slows down to more like 2 minutes a post. Best we've done was 60 in an hour. For that big of a machine and those size posts I would consider the bigger models though for more power/efficiencies.
