NW Ohio,near Findlay | For a payment or refund, there are two different ways, the first one is easy, a CPA will do it for you, bank routing number and ID. Second one you can go to IRS.Gov and set up I believe they call it IDme, way more complex. You first have to sign in to site, set up a temporary password, sent to you. I messed up, had them send the password to another phone, that threw up a red flag. After a few more attempts, it locked me out. Then my son in law, who works with this stuff in his work, got me set up. Have to have picture ID, a few other things to proof who you are for safety. Really nice, you can see all your past history, payments received and being sent. Got my first refund quickly, will probably get nailed next year. | |
