NW Missouri | The purpose of a consignment dealer (jockey) is to connect a buyer and seller (also to buy undervalued stuff and resell it for profit). If the buyer and seller are already aware of each other, I don't know what purpose it would serve to run it through a 3rd party and give them a cut of the deal. It would be smart to do a UCC search, which a lender could do for you if you couldn't do it for yourself. Aside from that, I'm not sure what else a consignment place going to accomplish. Maybe I'm missing something. | |
