His post made me wonder.
I think I remember almost everything I did from my adult youth (I'm 75 now).
But, how many really early memories do you have?
My wife and female cousin have all talked about this, and the ladies claim to remember things way farther back than I do.
I was about fourth or fifth grade before I remember much detail about things (9-10 years old)...............both the ladies claim to remember things from around age three. One remembers the floor plan of a house they moved from when she was 4.
I have flashes and some memories from fifth grade, but no memories at all of first grade. If my first-grade teacher knocked on my door, I would not recognize her.
When do your memories start?
I have a few memories of a babysitter I went to before I was school aged. That's about as far back as I can go. I also have a few from a little later in life that I'd pay good money to forget but those seem permanent.
