North Central OH | What are you mixing with it? We feed whole shelled corn with a protein pellet to finish, screen out hammers off. Yes you see corn in the manure but if you want to go thru the effort to wash and weight it its been digested. One old feed rep says he went thru the effort once, grinding it just make so you can't see it, the cracks in the kernel let them digest it. There are some pellets out there that want the corn ground but was told that was to avoid breaking them. | |
