Central Illinois | We had a "peach" to work with 2 weeks ago. The cow didn't want anything to do with the calf. Put her in the headgate four days as the calf nursed. The 5th day we tried to get the cow in the headgate, but she didn't go. Instead she stood their and let the calf nurse. Then she started licking the calf as it nursed. I don't know what was wrong with this cow, but she is taking care of the calf. This is her 3rd or 4th calf. | |
