Embarrass WI | I had a period in my 20's when I was drinking more and more often than I should have. I started farming on my own and that took enough of my time I didn't have time for drinking. My wife struggled with it longer than I did but she eventually was able to control it as well.
More recently, alcohol killed my GF's daughter at 31 years old. One of my neighbors is now dealing with liver failure after many years of keeping a glass of bourbon around anytime he was home from work. It's not pretty to watch.
Now I have a beer or two every now and then and that's about it. Might total 15-20 per year.
