If you really want to figure out whom got you fired, maybe you need to do one-on-one face-to-face conversations with each and every person in your local fire department. That would be a good place to start.

This is the right answer. Tommy reminds me of a guy I worked with at the dealership. He was a volunteer firefighter in his hometown and officer in the department. He was a strutting, cocky popping Jay that loved to belittle the younger guys on the department, yell and make sure they knew how much more of a firefighter he was. His favorite saying was" i was putting out fires when you were still pooping green". Yeah I never understood that either.
Well, when annual officer elections are held, the younger guys got together and voted him out of office. He couldn't understand why.
I bet the guys on Tommy's department feel the same way
