Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana		One of the few times I was stuck in a 4x4 truck (doing something important, not playing) was back in the late 70s or early 80s in April.

I was trying to get to another farm to feed hogs. We had a wet, heavy snow, and I got stuck in it; that said, it was all gone in two days.

That is in Indiana, not way up north.
