Is there any possibility that your posts got back to your son's department/firehouse?
If so, that had to be embarrassing for him. I bet the way guys ride you here is nothing compared to how the other firefighters went after him.
Could your boy have turned you in to get you to shut up, or to cease and desist posting, or maybe some of his fireman buddies got tired of it all?
