Reno Co KS | I haven't seen any HIPPA violations. I don't read everything he posts but he's vague enough from what I've seen he's fine. Maybe his department has a policy, maybe not. People like to yell HIPPA violation but need to look into it a little deeper. Mostly deals with billing, health records, IT security, etc. Fire is a grey area, especially if they don't run EMS or bill.
Now, there is a professional expectation to be discrete about pts. The public has an expectation and we should adhere to that. Read a fire department Facebook page or get on YouTube, a lot more information out there than he's put out on here.
