S23 is a nice model still, no need to throw it out. Nothing wrong with Samsung OS, its Linux with pizazz and S23 is new enough that penetrations are limited by active development. The beauty of Android (and Linux) is - there are no training wheels - the phone will do what you tell it to do. Be cautions granting permissions and follwing links to 'clean junk' etc - this is almost certainly undesirable software.
Kaspersky is Russian owned, don't know if that is an inherent problem - probably best to make your own decision there. MalwareBytes is reasonably good free software if you feel the need to have something, I do use it on Windows machines. Nothing w/ Linux, nothing on phone. | |
