E ND | Pulling someone else's boat on their trailer would be pretty low on my list of things to do. They're by far the most underused, under sized and under maintained trailers on the road. Unless it's a fishing boat that gets towed around to area lakes every weekend with known good axle bearings and tires I would say a multi-state trip would be a roll of the dice unless the owner had new bearings installed, checked over in the shop with less than 5yr old tires.
(This is coming from someone with three boat trailers I wouldn't want to pull more than an hour in any direction!)
Dock to dock on a hotshot trailer would maybe be a better option (and cheaper rate) if you have a place to load and unload.
