NC KS
My area was very high percentage NH3 in the last century. Big transition to notill starting in late 90s. N sources changed to UAN and urea with urea being more popular. Still lots of urea and some UAN but I have seen a good sized uptick in NH3 this spring.

I have followed the same path. I used urea for several years but it is hard to control accurately and very subject to losses and requires a decent investment to store on the farm. I have used UAN for several years. Low investment to store on the farm. Easy to buy at a cheaper price and can be spread very accurately. Easy to mix with other fertilizers like 10 34 and ATS. Doesn't volatilize as easy as urea.

NH3 is tempting price wise but requires a sizeable investment to get it bought cheaper.
