Those truly interested can track Artemis, themselves. You will find that the craft orbited Earth, then left for the moon. This can be confirmed by the direction of the signal, which is now coming from a location not in low Earth orbit but out toward where the moon will soon be (like a hunter leading a duck).
The information is out there, for those who are curious.
