Looked like you guys had some potential as the ditches were green , but was surprised at the amount of frost damage . from the windshield tour it looked like 10 - 30% of most fields were damaged . Some areas had that drought green color like it wasn't sure if it was going to live or die yet . Just curious if that is a fair assessment ,


I think a lot of what you're seeing in Kansas is drought burned wheat. Yes, it did freeze hard but I don't think the extent of that damage will be known until harvest. That's if it makes it to harvest and it doesn't look likely now. But I'm more central, west/central. Not sure what area you saw.
