UAN has been the product used on our acres for the past 30 years. Started out flinging urea on in the early days after college which soon became obvious it was very inconsistent in pattern and rate. UAN can be metered exactly, placed exactly and with majority sidedressed can really increase the efficiency of nitrogen by avoiding loss thus slightly lowering rate needed.
