east central ND | I have some very nice tool truck tools from when I pulled wrenches full time. They last, are nice to use. but as I get older, I find the germination rate is the exact same as my cheaper stuff!
Lately, I’ve had good luck with the smaller items I have bought from Tekton. Bought a couple items from Harbor the last few years too, the big pry bar has held up so far…...
Back in the day I could wear out and even break the big name tools.
Edit: the last few big impact sockets I found on eBay: a used Armstrong 3 & 1/16 - 1” drive, a new Wright 46 mm 3/4 drive, some nice used Proto large crowfoot…. …..most of this type stuff will only get used every few years for me.
